Week Nine Blog Post One

Literally was copying it from the document and trying to paste it but was a second too late was the board closed

A still night in New York City. As still as the city can be anyways. Leaping from building to building a man in a blood-red spandex jumpsuit tries to outrun his hate. The sight of a costumed figure upon the roofs no longer warrants a second look from the citizens of the Big Apple. It had been decades since the colorful vigilantes who called themselves heroes had appeared and now were a welcome part of the city. Crime rates were never lower if one did not count the violations of the heroes, and no one did.

The scarlet figure, known to the city as Street Demon, is chasing some would-be rapists if he has not intervened. He hates them, their families, their friends, anyone who let this filth continue to exist in the world.

It had been a while since he had killed. Too long in his opinion. There may be some bad press on the slaughter, but the next day Incredi-Man would save some children from a burning building and his actions would be forgotten. He wanted to kill these men. Badly.

It had been three years since Mark Mahoney had taken up the mantle of the Street Demon. He needed an outlet for his anger. Supervillain was too easy. Hurt people and you go to prison or some mental health facility just to be released or busted out in a few months from a prison break. No, a villain was short-sighted. He needed to be a hero, yes a hero. He could hurt crooks, could kill them, and be celebrated by the people. Given the key to the city for breaking the law. A free pass to crime, that is what he needed.

He was gaining on the scum. The idiots ran together. didn’t even try splitting up.  Pathetic scum. Yeah, he would kill them he decided, who kind of person who should after what they tried to do that teenage girl. He bends his wrists extending a blade for each. A few more feet and he would jump in for the kill. Closer and closer. He’s right over them now. He pounces, ready to kill.
